David Coan - WINE 101....
David Coan has been active in the service industry for over 20 years and has had experience in every aspect of restaurant operations and management including several fine dining establishments.
In October 2005 David successfully tested in San Francisco for the Court of Master Sommeliers Sommelier Certification.
David has been teaching wine tasting classes at Lake Washington Technical College for 4 years and the classes fill quickly.
You will learn the nuances of wine tasting, how to develop your palate, tasting techniques, what to look for in a wine and what do the “legs” tell you?
Old world wine or new? Learn the “basics” come, sit, sip, enjoy, and then stay for the show!

Wine 101 and Comedy Show
Every Thursday at Laughs Comedy Spot, David presents a different region of wines for your tasting. At this class you will learn the nuances of of wine tasting, how to develop your palate, what to look for in wines, and what the "legs" tell you. This is a fun event for groups, girls night out, or a date night. Class is about an hour long and stay for the comedy show at 8:30, where you can purchase 1/2 price bottles of wine. Space is limited so make a reservation!

Chris Fairbanks, a young comic who left the scenic comfort of Big Sky Country in Montana eight years ago to join the Texas comedy circle, is getting a lot of attention. In the past few years, Chris took first place in 2003’s Funniest Person in Austin contest, attended Montreal’s Just for Laughs festival in their "New Faces" showcase, starred as "Randy" on the MTV reality series "The 70’s House", as well as in other, un-aired MTV pilots, received 1st runner-up in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots contest, and has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. He currently is an action sports correspondent for the Fuel TV network. Chris Fairbanks now resides in Los Angeles and makes his living as a club touring stand-up comic/actor and illustrator. |

Tom Rhodes has been around, literally and figuratively. He's been a comic since his senior year in high school, and today he is approaching 40. He's lived in Florida, San Francisco, L.A., and in New York on two separate occasions. Now he's in Amsterdam, living on a street he can't pronounce. Rhodes has played every American city that has a comedy club, and he's toured the globe so many times that when Immigration looks at his passport, they ask for CliffsNotes.

Good Clean Fun!! Karen has been working as a full time comedienne for over 17 years. Her clean observation comedy makes her perfect for
everything from clubs to corporate to colleges and beyond.
She is a "Baby Boomer Hippie" who believes there is no time like the present to be living in the past. She describes herself as having an optimistic outlook (even though her therapist
describes her as being in complete denial). Either way everything is coming up roses when you talk to Karen!
Originally from Pittsfield Mass she spent her early 20's as cigarette girl at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and then moved to San Diego, CA where she became a regular at both the Comedy Store and The Improv.
Karen has opened for such show biz legends as Bob Hope, Ray Charles and The Monkees. She is a regular on the number one radio show in the country, Bob and Tom and can be seen on Comedy Centrals Live at Gotham and Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen. She just recently made her acting debut playing the lead role of Sue Burrow in the upcoming movie short, "Return To Sender" and has been feature in the book "Women's Lip" edited by Roz Warren and Moxxie Greeting Cards. Karen also just finished a special performance in "What's So Funny" with David Brenner
Her primary influence is Gracie Allen.
